Manika Bishwokarma is a Dalit woman, writer, journalist and activist from Chitwan . With a background in sociology and gender justice, she is an active member of Mahila Ekata Samaj and Sancharika Samuha, amplifying women's voices through media and grassroots organizing. She is a DEI fellow at Nepal Investigative Multimedia Journalism Network (NIMJN). Manika is currently completing her Master's in Sociology from Tribhuvan University, focusing on caste, gender, and social justice.
Her work is deeply rooted in anti-caste feminist politics and the belief that lived experience is essential knowledge.
